Mandolin World Headquarters, Gruhn etc. It is in better than average condition, a few scratches, everything is tight and it sounds decent. what is the current best option when it comes to sub $400 f-style mandolins? I`ve read a few old threads and I see there is a consensus that you get alot more for your money with an A-style in that price range, but call me shallow I have my heart set on an f-style. What gives? .. No matter where I go& .. Allen Hopkins Gibsn: `54& ..I would have thought that since he is such a significant figure in the mandolin world that it might have led to other mandolin players trying out slightly different models, but as far as I can see most people here still tend towards the traditional F5.
